COMMON QUESTIONS
Q: When will my item ship?
A: Your item will go in the mail 1-3 business days from the day we receive your order. Larger Items ship via UPS, anything 13 oz and under will ship USPS. You will receive a tracking number once your order ships.
Q: I have a special request for shipping and need it shipped NOW! Can you help?
A: We just might be able to! Please contact us before you place your order with the situation and we'll see what we can do for you.
Q: My item is a gift, can you include a special note to the lucky recipient?
Q: How does Local Pick Up work?
A: Absolutely! Gift giving is one of our favorite things! Just let us know what you'd like written on a special notecard (there's a spot to leave us a note when you checkout). We'll even give your order some extra TLC when packing it up!
Local Pick Up orders will be at Neighborly in Lincoln Square at 4710 N. Lincoln Ave. At check out, you need to enter an address (we know, it’s goofy). As long as it’s within Illinois, it’ll then give you the option to choose Local Pick Up. Once your order is ready for pick up (3 business days), we will email you and you can pick it up during Neighborly’s regular business hours.
Q: Can I exchange an item or get a refund?
A: As with all handmade goods, our items may vary slightly in color from run to run (or from our computer screen to your computer screen) - no two are alike. We take care to make sure all our products are they best they can be before they head out the door (i.e. no smudges, bent corners, etc.).
If you do happen to receive an item with a minor problem, we ask you to contact us immediately, and include a photo of the item. In most cases, we can exchange it for a new one, but we may ask you ship the damaged item back at your own shipping cost.
If you are truly unhappy with an item and would like to return it, we will refund you the cost of the item only, not the shipping, and you will need to pay to ship it back to us. Please let us know that you're sending a return, and we will refund your money when it arrives at our studio.
We cannot issue refunds or exchanges after 30 days from the date of purchase.
Q: Can you customize your items for me?
All of our items are only available in the colors and sizes you see listed. As much as we would love to be able to help you out, we need to focus our energies on new and exciting work that we can't wait to show you!
Q: But, I have a REALLY custom job for you - like a logo for my company. Can you help me with that?

Q: Do you really laugh at your own puns?
Of course! If I don't laugh out loud while I'm sketching out the idea, it's not going on the press.
Q: Julie, what's your least favorite memory involving cheese?
A: When I was little I ate way too much velveeta cheese while watching Growing Pains. I learned a lot about myself that day.
